The Lalit Experience. Chandigarh.

The Lalit, Chandigarh.

Hi hi everyone, trust you all are doing really well!
This blog post is all about my experience at The Lalit, Chandigarh. I have been to The Lalit Hotel in Delhi, but it was my first visit here at their hotel in Chandigarh.
So most of you already know that I was at The Lalit last week for a luncheon at the Royal Indian Affair, a food fest hosted by Baluchi, a PAN Asian restaurant at The Lalit.
The menu at Baluchi has an amazing lip-smacking variety to offer!
You can visit The Lalit till 10th September, 2016 to attend The Royal Indian Affair fest.

So, let's get started,
The Royal entrance at the Baluchi, where we were welcomed with refreshing Pink-Rose flavoured drinks.

Lovely vintage decor adds up to the Royalty of this place.

You have to-have to visit Baluchi to witness all, and this is the exact right time!

Above, is a view of the restaurant and the view from where I sat.
Baluchi, like all of the hotel, offers sweeping views of 'Shivalik Range' and the forest beyond through full-length glass windows.

The Royal Bar.

Menu at Baluchi

You can choose from the Ala-carte or from 3-set menus ie 1500+; 2000+; 2500+

Now, something interesting! At Baluchi, we were introduced to their in-house concept of Naanery, its a combination of the words Naan and Winery. Naanery!
It's an assemblage of Indian breads, served with wine and lip-smacking chutneys.

Main Course.

  • Dal Sultani
  • Hyderabazi Sabz Bahaar
  • Rajasthani Papad ki Sabzi
  • Lakhnavi Paneer Laung Latika
  • Kashmiri Pulaav

No perfect lunch without a delicious dessert! We had Ghevar, a Rajasthani sweet.

My Final Review:

Baluchi is the best fine dining restaurants here in Chandigarh when it comes to North Indian cuisine (my personal experience). Baluchi emanates luxury at it's best. Gorgeous interiors with a catchy glass wine corner, a royal ambience and delicious food sums up the experience for me.
It was heaven in mouth kind of experience. All the dishes were awesome. My favourite being Rajasthani Papad ki Sabzi.
Servers are well versed with the menus and great at their job. The chef paying a visit for feedback is an excellent gesture of service.
Loved the place. Highly recommended.

So this was all about #TheLalitExperience that I had!
